Ingredients

2 salmon fillets

2 tbsp Seven Barrels Blood Orange EVOO
-
1 tbsp honey
-
2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: fresh parsley, orange zest, red pepper flakes
Instructions

Prepare the salmon
Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper. -
Make the glaze
In a small bowl, mix Blood Orange EVOO, honey, garlic, and lemon juice. -
Cook the salmon
Place salmon in a baking dish or skillet.
Brush generously with the glaze. -
Bake or sear
Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes
OR pan-sear skin-side down, then finish in oven. -
Build the finish
Brush with additional glaze during the last few minutes of cooking for a glossy finish. -
Finish like a pro
Top with fresh parsley, a little orange zest, and a light drizzle of Blood Orange EVOO.
Pro Tip
Don’t overcook the salmon.
Pull it when it just starts to flake. The carryover heat will finish it.
