½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika

Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the lobster shell lengthwise. Gently lift the lobster meat out and place it on top of the shell while keeping the base attached.

Pat dry with paper towels.

2. Make the Lemon Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in:

  • lemon juice

  • lemon zest

  • salt

  • pepper

  • paprika

Remove from heat.

3. Season the Lobster

Brush the lobster meat generously with the lemon garlic butter mixture.

Reserve a small amount for serving.

4. Cook the Lobster

You can broil or grill.

Broil Method

Preheat broiler to high.

Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8–10 minutes until the meat is opaque and lightly golden.

Grill Method

Heat grill to medium-high.

Grill lobster tails shell-side down for 8–10 minutes.

5. Finish with Meyer Lemon Olive Oil

Once cooked, drizzle lightly with:

Seven Barrels Meyer Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This adds a bright citrus finish that enhances the natural sweetness of the lobster.

6. Serve

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Perfect pairings:

  • roasted asparagus

  • garlic butter potatoes

  • fresh arugula salad

  • crusty bread for dipping

Chef Tip

A final drizzle of Meyer Lemon Olive Oil right before serving adds a fresh citrus aroma and restaurant-quality flavor.

Why Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Works Here

Meyer lemons are sweeter and less acidic than traditional lemons. When infused into extra virgin olive oil, they create a smooth citrus flavor that pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled vegetables, salads, and pasta.
